The book that I am doing my book project on is called "Hank The Cowdog". The one that I read is about the Case of The Haystack Kitties. It first starts talking about where he lives and what this chapter is about. Hank hates cats, he doesn't like them one bit. There's a mother cat and her kittens living in the haystack on there farm. He does all he can to get them out of the haystack but they have nowhere to go, neither does the huge bull that knocked down the fenced in the farm. Hank has a friend that works/lives with him and his name is Drover. Hank came home and found Drover at the the cottonwood tree trying to catch the cotton as it glided over him. On his first try he missed it and on his second try he caught it in his mouth and he fell on his back. Hank told him that he has to stop doing that because he haven't ever saw him do that before.The title of the second chapter is Mocked By The Small Minds on The Ranch. Hank said that he saw Loper and Slim they were leaning on the leg of something and they were laughing at something.Hank was trying to find out what they where laughing about. When he heard Slim say " That's a special dog you have there. Loper said that you bet that he has been trying to catch the cottonwood tree cotton in his mouth. The farmer said that he bet that anyone will pay a lot of money for a dog like Hank. The third chapter is called I Discover A Stray Cat In The Haystack. In the first beginning of this chapter Hank is getting chased by the big bull, before Hank got to he combat zone Slim was already there. Slim found a piece of windmill rod and ran straight at the bull swinging his arm and yelling. Slim got the bull stirred up so bad that instead of the bull jumping over the fence he ran right through it. He tore another 6 ft of barb wire. Slim through the rod and hit him and yelled "YOU DANGGUMMET FENCES- WRECKING BULL. GET HIM HANKIE BITE HIM TWICE FOR ME. This is all i can let you know you have to read the book to find out more about what happened to Hank.
